Though Arkham Origins developer WB Games Montréal remains hard at work on Gotham Knights, the upcoming title takes place in a world post-Bruce Wayne's death. Outside of Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham VR and Batman: The Enemy Within from Telltale, it's been years since the Dark Knight starred in a video game. It's enough to make one wonder how exactly Rocksteady Studios will use the latest technology to further push the envelope in Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League. The volumetric effects and color grading especially serve as standouts, providing Gotham City with a slightly more dynamic appearance. Needless to say, Batman: Arkham Knight, despite being stunning out of the box, has never looked so good. The modder showed off their build in a recent video, wherein Arkham Knight running on an Nvidia RTX 3090 TI features ray-traced reflections, dynamic volumetric fog, and God rays. YouTuber AD Massicuro has created a mod that adds 8K resolution to Batman: Arkham Knight.
